Yes. DEFENDER is designed to help protect your eyes from a regulation pickleball while maintaining an open view of the court. Like any protective eyewear, it cannot eliminate the risk of injury in every situation.
DEFENDER is designed to help protect your eyes during pickleball by reducing the risk of injury from ball impacts. Like all protective equipment, it cannot eliminate the risk of injury and is not intended to protect against every possible impact, including paddle strikes or other collisions.

Traditional lenses can fog, glare, scratch, and introduce optical distortion. DEFENDER uses an open frame instead, keeping your view clear.
DEFENDER was designed to keep as much of the court visible as possible. Most players quickly stop noticing the frame once play begins.
DEFENDER is available in Standard and Slim. Visit the Size Guide to determine which size is right for you. If you order the wrong size, we’ll exchange it for free.

Yes. The nose and arm pads are replaceable components designed to be changed if they wear over time.
No. The color inserts are permanently installed during assembly to provide a durable, long-lasting finish.
No. The included backstrap is completely optional and can be attached if you’d like additional security during play.
There are no lenses to fog, scratch, or wipe — just store it in the case between sessions.
